Q: How do I post my ad?

A: Posting classified ads is a cinch and completely FREE. No strings attached!
To post your classified ad simply follow these instructions. You may choose to pay a small fee to Promote your Ad or purchase a weblink or weblink credits but this is entirely your choice
.


Q: How many classified ads can I post in one day?


A:
As many as you wish! 

There is no limit to the number of classified ads you can post in a day or at anytime. However, you are not permitted to post any one classified ad more than once in any particular subcategory/category combination listed on our site (duplicated ads are not permitted). And, each classified ad you post must be relevant to the subcategory you select your ad to appear in.

Please keep in mind that prospects have the ability to report duplicate ads and if yours is reported for this reason, a content administrator will review your classified ad and if it was in fact intentionally posted as a duplication, it could either be immediately repositioned to an appropriate subcategory or completely removed from the site .


Q:
Can I put more than one item in a classified ad?

A:
  NO, we want all posters to get the best possible exposure, and therefore, it is a posting policy to post one item per ad and therefore you are required to post a separate classified ad for each item. The simple rule to follow is to match your item with the relevant classification, category and subcategory when you post your ad.

Can I put multiple ads in the same category but in different cities?

A
NO, unlike other community based classified ad sites, there is no need whatsoever to post your classified ad more than once on our site in any one category or subcategory. 

Upon posting your ad, make sure that you enter the actual or "Closest City" of where your item is located and it will be found by prospects searching by location - locally, regionally or nationally, or by keyword, category and/or specific subcategory searches.
 
The only classified ads that will appear duplicated (and are permitted to appear duplicated) in any one category or subcategory are those being promoted in either a Premium or Spotlight Feature position within the relevant categories and subcategories selected when you post your ad. 

Keep in mind that when registering your account you can insert a check mark in the box where it asks if you would like prospects to see your other items via the "Posters Other Items" link within each of your classified ads. And, at anytime you can change this selection by visiting your dashboard and editing your account.

Can I include pictures and videos?
 
A: Pictures Yes! It's FREE to upload your photos (max. 7 per classified ad at a size capacity of 2 mb per image)- please review the attached

In the near future, we will be providing a means  for everyone to post video ads (at a small fee). In the meantime, and for about the same cost per link, you may wish to purchase a web link and link to an online video (see next question).

Can I put URL links within my ads?

A:
 From the posting page you may purchase web links individually or in bulk. 

This allows you to direct prospects to a key location of your choice (website, e-mail address, product specs/brochures, videos etc.). The more you buy, the more you save and having credits available in your account provides a quick & easy method to insert any weblink you desire each time you post a classified ad. No need to keep making individual purchases - it saves you time and money!
You can change the web link at anytime during the 60 day active period. When you purchase a web link you may insert any other e-address in the body of your ad as well (see next Q & A). 

  
Q: Why does my email address keep disappearing from my ad?

A: An email address is considered a URL (weblink), and the first one you wish to use in your classified ad must be purchased when you post your ad (via the Posting Page). Many email addresses clearly denote the company’s name, thus promote the company and therefore it is considered business advertising.

Business advertising is an additional cost on our site (a very low cost at that in relation to others).

Also, since it is FREE to Post ads we must charge for some things in order to bring you this great service. However, in the spirit of providing you with every possible opportunity to quickly sell, lease or rent your items, once you purchase a weblink or weblink credits you can add as many text e-addresses in the body of your classified ad as you wish. Your purchased weblink, whether it be an email address, website address, or any URL location you choose, will be featured prominently (as a hyperlink in bold blue) at the top portion of your classified ad, directly underneath your specified "Location".


Q: What if I don’t have a website and I just want to put in my email address?

A: As explained above it is considered a URL link and therefore needs to be paid
for as a weblink. Once you purchase a weblink your email address will be featured prominently at the top of your ad and anywhere else you wish to insert it within your ad.


Q: What if I don’t want to pay for a weblink, how can people contact me?

A: Your prospects can contact you through the site Contact this Poster link
within your ad. There is no charge for this.


Q:
Are there any other ways for me to promote my ads?

A You may purchase a Premium Feature or a Spotlight Feature position for    
15 or 30 days at a time.  This also duplicates your classified ad (for maximum exposure) in the category and the subcategory you select when posting your ad.
You will find the area to select these promotional features as you scroll down the Posting Page. 


Q:
How long does my ad stay online?

A:
Your classified ad stays live on LeaseArrangers.com for 60 days! If necessary, on the 50th day you will receive an email notification reminding you that your classified ad will be expiring in 10 days. Upon receiving  this notification you will have the remaining 10 days to renew your classified ad for another 60 days from the e-mail notification, if you so desire.

However, we have designed the site in a way to offer you the absolute maximum exposure of your item(s) and we are running frequent high profile awareness and marketing campaigns that should help curb the need for you to renew your classified ad.
We are committed to and will continuously strive to give you every opportunity to complete a beneficial transaction as quickly as possible!

Do my ads get screened when they are posted?

A: At various times Yes  - our content admin. team randomly selects newly posted classified ads to check for inappropriate content and any classified ad deemed to be posted in violation of our policies stated within our
Terms of Use may be deleted without notice.

 
Q:
Why is the date in my ad different from the date I posted it?

A: The date shown at the lower right portion of every classified ad is the date you last modified it.  When you sort by oldest to newest you may notice that your ad remains the oldest even though it was recently modified. We do not publish the date your classified ad was originally posted but the positioning of your ad is based on that date.  

However, should you wish to ensure that your ad is positioned at the top of all search results for either a 15 day or 30 day duration, at anytime you can login and in the edit mode place any of your classified ads in a Premium and/or a Spotlight Feature position from the "Edit" posting page. This will ensure your item is see first before others, despite when it was originally posted. 
   

Q: My item is no longer available, how do I remove it from the search results page.

A: If you wish to have the ad removed at anytime prior to the 60 day active period, you may login to your dashboard and mark the ad as "Inactive" (if you think you may want to re-run the ad) or you can click the delete link to permanently remove the ad from your dashboard.

Do I have to register to post my ad?

A: Yes, but it's FREE! When you proceed to post your classified ad you will be asked for an email address and password, which will be your username and password. This allows you to have a "Dashboard" area where you can edit and manage your classified ads, and track / monitor the activity related to each of your classified ads. When you register as a business you are provided the opportunity to complete certain fields which can also customize your classified ads. If you have a registered account, sign in first and then post your classified ad.

What are "cookies" and why must they be enabled?
 

A: "Cookies" are small bits of text stored on your computer that are sent to our web site to identify you from other visitors. We use cookies for a variety of purposes such as logging you in automatically, storing your favourite ads, remembering your preferences and more. Please check your browser settings and make sure cookies are enabled when visiting LeaseArrangers.com

How do I edit my account, change my password etc?

A: Once you are logged into your account, you can edit information in your dashboard including your email address and password.

How do I change my account from personal to business (and business to personal)?

A: Whether you want to change from personal to business or business to personal, this is accomplished in your dashboard by clicking edit beside the word Account - click the link on the right side to change to the desired type of account and complete the form as required.
When you change your account to business you will be required to provide further contact information. You will be able to turn off the financing link inside your ad as well as the option of removing the ability for prospects to see your other posted items.

• The web page address the bug occurred on ( if possible highlight the address
   bar, copy & paste into the message).
• What you were trying to do or what function you were performing at the time
   (i.e. upload video etc.)
• Copy & paste into the message any error message you received or describe
   what happened that makes you suspect a programming bug.
• What web browser and operating system you are using.
